Sugar Mountain Ski Resort in North Carolina

Good for Intermediate/Advanced Skiers

Trip Location
The first two trips will be to Winterplace Ski Resort in West Virginia
Winterplace, WV is one of the best places to learn to ski or ski for the first time.
This is a great trip for Beginner to Intermediate Skiers or those who have never skied before who would like to try it out!
The third trip will be to Sugar Mountain in North Carolina. This will be geared more for intermediate/advanced skiers.

Trips Include:
2 Days of Skiing & Lift Tickets
2 Days of Ski Rentals, Poles, and All Other Equipment
Basic Ski Lessons and help running first ski trails from guide
Lodging in hotel near ski resort close to dining options
Transportation to and from North Alabama area to West Virginia or North Carolina
in 15 passenger van

FRIDAY:
8am CST - Leave from Cullman, AL
1:30pm EST - Stop in Knoxville, TN for Lunch
7:00pm EST - Arrive in Beckley, WV & Check-in Hotel
7:30pm - Dinner on your own

SATURDAY:
8:30am EST - Leave for Winterplace Ski Resort
9am EST - Check-in, get in ski gear
9:45am - 11:45am EST - Group Ski Lesson & First Run
Lunch at Ski Resort on Your Own
6:30 pm EST - Leave Winterplace for Hotel
7pm EST - Arrive at Hotel, Dinner on your Own

SUNDAY:
8:30am EST - Leave Hotel
9:00am EST - Arrive at Ski Resort
9:00am-1pm EST - Skiing & Lunch at Resort
1pm EST - Return Ski Gear
1:15 EST Depart for Home
6pm EST - Stop for Dinner
10pm EST - Estimated time of Arrival to Cullman, AL

If you will be sharing a hotel room with a roommate, spouse, or friend, both people will pay $689 each instead of $789!

Tour Guide
Waid Harbison, Owner of Abundant Adventures LLC will serve as the tour guide & instructor for the trip. Waid has over 10 years of experience in outdoor adventures, tourism & hospitality management, event coordination, and recreation administration. He is also an avid skier who has skied for 9 Years, having been to 7 different Ski Resorts. He has ridden Green, Blue, and Black Diamond Trails regularly. Waid has also taken intermediate and advanced private ski lessons to hone his skills over the years. He has been to Winterplace Ski Resort in West Virginia 8 times to ski and has led 2 trips previously to the resort.
